Semi-State Tickets and Regional Shirts

Triton will face Lafayette Central Catholic in the Semi-State. The game will be played at Lafayette Jefferson High school and will begin at 1:00 pm.

The THS Athletic Department highly recommends that you purchase your tickets pre-sale as their may not be any tickets available at the door. Tickets will be on sale in the following order:

Tuesday, March 17th: Tickets will be on sale for the parents of players and cheerleaders. Tickets will be sold for immediate family only (i.e. parents, grandparents, and sibblings). Tickets will also be on sale for all Triton Jr./Sr. High School Students.

Wednesday, March 18th: Tickets will be on sale for pass and gold card holders. You will only be able to purchase one ticket per pass or gold card.

Thursday, March 12th - Friday, March 13th: Tickets will be on sale for the general public. Each day tickets will be on sale in the HS office from 7:45-4:00. It is also important to note that there will be no reserved seats.

Regional Shirts will be on sale until Tuesday, March 17th at 3:30. Order forms can be picked up in the HS or the EL offices. Shirts will be gold.

Dress Code for Regional

It has just been announced that the Saturday morning Regional game will be a "Gold Rush" so wear your Gold. The championship game will then be a "Sea of Blue" so wear your Blue! Spread the word.

Regional Ticket Information

Sectional Champions

Congratulations to the Boys Basketball team for winning the 2009 Sectional Championship. This marks the second year in a row that Triton has won Sectional #50. The Trojans defeated Westville, Oregon Davis, and Argos to win the Sectional and improve to 21-2 on the season. Three down 4 to go!

Girls Basketball Sectional

The girls basketball sectional will begin next week. Triton drew the bye and will play the winner of Westville and Michigan City Marquette. Triton will play the second game on Friday night. All games will be played at Oregon Davis High School. Tickets are on sale now at the THS office. The cost is $9 and the ticket is good for all sessions.

Girls/Boys Double Header

With the extreme cold we're experiencing, both Triton and Culver have agreed to cancel the JV game for the girls tomorrow and for the boys on Saturday. We will postpone the girls varsity contest on Friday and play it on Saturday. The schedule below will be followed:

Oh the Weather Outside is Frightfull...

We have canceled all after school practices and contests.

The boys varsity wrestling match against Culver will be rescheduled for 1/21/09 with WI beginning at 6:00.

Boys Varsity vs New Prairie

The boys varsity basketball contest this evening has been postponed.

The Boys Varsity Basketball game vs New Prairie has been rescheduled for February 14th. The time is yet to be determined and will be affected by the Girls Basketball Sectional Championship that evening. If Triton or New Prairie makes it to the championship of the girls sectional, then the game will be played at 2:00 PM. However, if neither girls team makes it to the championship the game will be played at 6:30 PM. The game will be played at Triton.

Boys Varsity Holiday Tourney

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Basketball team on winning the Holiday Tourney. Colton Keel, Joel Meister, and Griffyn Carpenter were all awarded All-Tourney Team honors. Colton also received the Tournament MVP. Congratulations guys.

This was the last year that the boys and the girls will compete in this Holiday Tourney. Beginning next season, Triton will be back in the Bi-County Tournament. For those of you who are not familiar with this tourney, it is held in the month of January and includes the following teams:

Triton, LaVille, Culver, Bremen, John Glenn, New Prairie, Argos, and Oregon Davis

We are looking forward to entering this great tournament.

Boys FR Basketball vs Jimtown Cancelled

The boys FR BB game against Jimtown has been cancelled. The game was originally scheduled for 1/5.

Ring In The New Year With A Few Changes

The 2008 Boys Basketball State Championship team will now be honored on January 10th prior to the start of the varsity contest.

The boys varisty basketball game against New Prairie has been rescheduled for January 13th at 6:00. The game will be played at Triton.

The girls varsity basketball game against Whitko has been rescheduled for February 4th at 6:00. The game will be played at Triton.
