A Few More Changes...
Also a change for this winter: The Girls Varsity/JV Basketball Holiday tourney is listed on the Corporation calendar as being on January 2-3 and the Boys Varsity/JV Basketball Holiday tourney is listed on the calendar as being December 26-27. These two should be switched so that the Girls Tourney is 12/26 while the Boys tourney is January 2-3. This was a contractual error between all schools involved. Sorry for the confusion!

Performance of the Week # 3
Tuesday:
- Junior High Football suffered it's first defeat to Culver. Now 1-1 on the season
- Boys Varsity Tennis defeated Tippecanoe Valley 4-1
- Boys and Girls Varsity Cross Country are both defeated by Culver Academies
Wednesday:
- The Girls JV and Varsity Volleyball teams were defeated by Knox. The Varsity is now 2-1 in conference play.
Thursday:
- Boys Varsity Tennis defeats Whitko 4-1
- The Girls 7th grade volleyball team was defeated by Culver while the girls 8th grade volleyball team defeated Culver
- The Boys and Girls JH Cross Country teams both finished second in the three way against Lakeview and Whitko. Congratulations to Trenton Stackhouse and Ally Kann for winning their races.
Friday:
- The Varsity football team was defeated by Bremen and now move to 1-1 in the NSC
Saturday:
- The JV Football game against Bremen was canceled today.
- The Girls Varsity Volleyball team finished second to Bremen in the Triton Invitational.
- The Boys JH Cross Country team finished second in the Tippecanoe Valley Invitational. The team was led by Trenton Stackhouse who finished 2nd, Quentyn Carpenter who finished 4th, and Trenton Cooper who finished 5th.
- The Girls JH Cross Country team finished second in the Tippecanoe Valley Invitational. The team was led by Ally Kann who finished second and Mallorie Jennings who finished 5th.
- The Boys Varsity Cross Country team finished ninth in the Tippecane Valley Invittational.
- The Girls Varsity Cross Country does not have enough girls to field a team.
- The Girls Varsity Golf team competed in the NSC championship tournament. The team finished 2nd place! Peggy Nifong finished 2nd, Emily Duff 8th, and Bethany Shively 9th to each receive all conference honors. Kelsey Bessinger finished 13th to earn all-conference honorable mention.
AND THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK GOES TO.......The Girls Varsity Golf team for their second place finish at the NSC championship tourney. Also to Peggy Nifong, Emily Duff, and Bethany Shively for being the first in school history to receive NSC All-Conference Honors in girls golf.
Congratulations to all of the Triton athletes this week and especially to the Girls Varsity Golf team for receiving this weeks performance of the week.

Performance of the Week #2
Tuesday:
- Boys Varsity Tennis defeats LaVille
- Boys Varsity CC finishes second against Bremen and LaVille
- Boys Varsity Tennis suffers their first loss of the season to Plymouth
- JH Football defeated Edgewood Middle School
- Girls Varsity Golf defeated Caston - Kelsey Bessinger was the medalist
- Girls Varsity Volleyball defeated Culver to improve to 2-0 in the conference
- The Varsity Football team defeated Culver 40-6 to improve to 3-0 on the season
- The Boys and Girls JH/Varsity Cross Country teams competed at the Caston Inviational. The JH girls finished 2nd while the JH boys won! The Varsity boys finished 8th overall out of 20 teams.
- The JV Football team defeated Culver
AND THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEK GOES TO....The Boys JH Cross Country team wins the Caston Invitational. Led by Trenton Stackhouse, Quentyn Carpenter, and Trenton Cooper, the Trojans were able to come away from the first invitational of the year with a victory!
Congrats to all of the Triton Athletes on a fantastic week and especially to the entire Trojan cross country team on receiving this weeks "Performance of the Week!"
